At 15:51, on June 19th, the first plane from Chengdu to Taizhong took off from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport with 73 passengers. While there will be 123 passengers on the returning flight with the attendance of 78%.

　　Taizhong is the third largest city in Taiwan. The direct flight from Chengdu to Taizhong is the second direct line linking Chengdu and Taiwan. There will be 3 flights every week with the flight periods of 3 hours and returning 3 hours and 40 minutes respectively on the same day. In recent years, with the much closer trade and commercial exchanges and the greatly increasing of business passengers, the opening of this new direct flight would further enhance the convenience of mutual exchanges between Sichuan and Taiwan.
