By 18:00 p.m. of June 29th, Luzhou Section of Chengdu-Zigong-Luzhou-Chishui Expressway has opened officially, marking the through opening of national expressway net G4215 Chengdu-Zunyi Expressway and the formation of convenient channel to southwest. There is one more expressway linking Sichuan and outside.

　　Chengdu-Zigong-Luzhou-Chishui Expressway is a section of Chengdu-Zunyi Expressway in National Expressway Network Planning (2013-2030), connecting Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, Nanning-Guiyang-Kunming Economic Zone, Southern Sichuan Economic Zone and Yangtze River Economic Belt, forming a crucial channel of Sichuan even the southwestern area. Zigong-Luzhou Section of Chengdu-Zigong-Luzhou-Chishui Expressway has been opened since August, 2013. Luzhou-Chishui Section is built based on BOT model with a total length of 62.764 km.

　　The opening of sections of Chengdu-Zigong-Luzhou-Chishui Expressway enables Luzhou Port to link highway transportation with waterway transportation . Container cargoes from Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan could be transported to Luzhou Port through expressway. Besides, this expressway also links well-known wine companies such as Luzhou Laojiao, Langjiu, Guizhou Maotai, Xijiu and so on, as well as numerous tourism sites.
