The arrival of train Z264, which brought the first tour group to join the 2015 Happy Tibet Peach Blossom Festival, to the Lhasa Railway Station on Mar.21, marked the beginning of Tibet's 2015 travel season. The 2015 Happy Tibet Peach Blossom Festival kicked off on Mar.19 and will last until Apr.4.

In recent years, Tibet has continuously strengthened the construction of tourism-related infrastructure and developed new tourist products, aiming to build itself as a world tourist destination.

Statistics show that Tibet saw more than 15 million tourists in 2014, receiving a total tourist revenue of 20.4 billion yuan(3.3 billion  U.S. dollars).
