The Sichuan Art Center exhibits paintings and calligraphy works by artists from the Wenjiang Liucheng Institute of Arts from March 31 to April 7.

Altogether 32 artists who live and work in Wenjiang district in Chengdu, Sichuan province put on display more than 60 of their artworks, illustrating Wenjiang’s history and cultural characteristics as well as local people’s daily life.

The exhibition, according to Wenjiang's bureau of culture, intends to give people a taste of the charm of the beautiful Wenjiang town in greater Chengdu. It will also serve to show and document the development of the town across different time periods.
