Panda Fans Sichuan Travel was Upgraded into Large Market by CNTA

On December 4th, reporters learned from 2016 Sichuan Tourism Marketing Work Conference that the International marketing activity implemented in 2016, Traveling the Southern Silk Road and Visiting the Hometown of Pandas -- Panda Fans Traveling to Sichuan, would be upgraded into a large overseas marketing activity held by China National Tourism Administration as “Giant Pandas Seeing the World -- Beautiful China” in order to disseminate that Sichuan had more than giant pandas.

  To provide excellent marketing for source tourists in 2016, Sichuan would spare no effects in 3 aspects. Apart from the large overseas marketing activity, “Giant Pandas Seeing the World -- Beautiful China”, Sichuan will continue to play the role of 4 overseas tourism marketing centers, China embassies, the working offices of China National Tourism Administration, cultural exchange centers of Ministry of Culture to develop the tourism marketing of Sichuan, and initiate activities such as “Two Thousand Project”, the certification of famous Sichuan cuisine restaurants, and the travel along delicious food and so on. “Two Thousand Project” will formulate 1,000 Sichuan tourism products targeted at different tourism organizations with their own mother tongues and then these products will be online to sell on 1,000 travel agencies for 12 months.

  In terms of destination marketing, apart from Sichuan International Cultural Tourism Festival, Sichuan International Trade Expo, Summit of Global Online Travel Agents, and Sichuan International Road-Trip Expo, and Sichuan Rural Cultural Festival for four seasons, Sichuan will also hold Sichuan Ganzi International Mountain Travel Festival, Sichuan International Spring and Snow Travel Festival and so on.
