On August 17th, reporters learned from many travel agents that Sichuan Airlines would open Chengdu-Dubai international flight since September 4th for every two round trips. This was the third regular international route between Chengdu and the Middle East after Abu Dhabi and Doha.
 
　　This route would be performed by Airbus A330 on every Tuesday and Friday. The single flight time will be approximately 12 hours including 10 hours of air flight time and 2 hours of layover time.
 
　　Previously, when Chengdu travelers visit Dubai, usually they flight to Abu Dhabi directly and then take shuttle bus to Dubai. The flight to Dubai will influence the passengers in Southwest and Northwest China. Meanwhile, Chengdu passengers have another new choice to United Arab Emirates.
