Bright Moon Gorge, also called Chaotian Gorge, is located in Chaotian District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. It is less than two-hour’s drive from there to Hanzhong, Shaanxi. It is an important part of Jianmen Pass Shu Road, national scenic area and key target of cultural relics preservation. One feature of Bright Moon Gorge is that it integrates six passages, namely bird road, trestle road, boat trackers’ road, waterway, highway and railway. It may be called a natural “museum” of Chinese transport and it demonstrates the rough Shu Road described by Li Po.
